Dr Vasil Zoi BDS PG Dip GDC: 257796

Principal Dentist

Vasil is the Principal Dentist and partner of Dental Care. Dr Vasil Zoi Graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 before completing his Vocational training in West Sussex. Vasil has always had a passion for general practice and worked across the country gaining a wealth of experience and enhancing his skills. He strives to provide high quality dentistry for his patients in a caring and friendly environment. Vasil first joined the Dental Care team as an associate in 2018 before buying the practice with his partner Rebecca. He continues to advance his knowledge, skills and post graduate qualifications. He has gained a Post- Graduate Certificate and Diploma in Primary Dental Care and further qualifications in Dental practice management. Vasil is a member of the British Dental Association and regularly updates his knowledge in all areas of dentistry.

Dr Rebecca Faill BDS (Hons) BSc (Hons) GDC:277200

Principal Dentist

Rebecca is the principal dentist and partner of dental care. After graduating with first class honours in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Newcastle, Rebecca studied Dentistry at the University of Liverpool. She qualified with Honours and distinction in Restorative Dentistry, Oral diseases and Oral health. She was also awarded the prestigious Gilmore prize and University scholarship prize for restorative dentistry. After Graduating Rebecca returned back home to the North East where she completed her Foundation training and was awarded the FGDP sponsored prize for her scheme. Rebecca has since worked in general practice across the north east enhancing her skills and treating anxious patients. She is committed to providing high quality clinical care and further advancing her knowledge, skills and qualifications.

Mr Timothy Puttick BDS DGDP RCS GDC 61128

Dentist with Special interest in Orthodontics

Tim Founded Dental Care in 1994 with his wife Meg before handing over the reins to Vasil and Rebecca in early 2022. He qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1986. After qualifying he ran a successful practice in Middlesbrough with Graham Orr. Tim was also employed by the Dental Hospital for nearly ten years as a Clinical Tutor to the undergraduate dental students. He was a trainer on the Teesside Vocational Training scheme and in addition he was employed on a sessional basis for over 13 years in the Hospital services with Consultant Mr Nigel Fox where he developed his special interest in Orthodontics. He is a member of the British Dental Association, the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and British Orthodontic Society.

Mrs Megan Puttick BDS GDC: 63321

Dentist with a Special interest in Orthododntics

Meg qualified from Newcastle dental school in 1988. She is a very experienced general dentist and has a special interest in Orthodontics. Meg also works at James Cook University Hospital in the Orthodontic department. Meg is a member of the British Dental Association.

Associate Dentist

Melanie qualified from Newcastle dental school in 1998. She joined the Dental Care Team in 2018 and is a fantastic asset to the practice. Melanie specialises in general dentistry.

Mrs Jill Shield

Practice Manager/Receptionist

Jill is now responsible for the day to day smooth efficient running of our business. She is first point of contact for all patient related queries and keeps us all in order!

Mrs Marcia Hanley

Receptionist

Marcia was one of our first receptionists when we opened back in 1994 and must know everyone in Seaton Carew! We are delighted she is still working for DentalCare.

Mrs Lorna Worton GDC 124205

Dental Nurse

Lorna is a very experienced dental nurse who has gained additional qualifications in Dental Sedation and Dental Radiology. She is a working mum and a vital part of our team.

Miss Claire Clapham GDC 252950

Dental Nurse

Claire is an experienced dental nurse who joined our team in 2014. She has a special interest in Orthodontic nursing, and has recently completed qualifications for the Certificate in Orthodontic Nursing and the Certificate in Radiography.

Miss Amy Weatherill GDC 295850

Dental Nurse

Amy is a qualified dental nurse who has also completed her training to be an Oral Health Educator. She also has a special interest in Orthodontic nursing.
